Posts: 3 (04/29/05 17:45:10) Pyromaniac Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None hey, I'm in the process of designing a workshop area (saving the money to actually build it at the same time) and I'm trying to decide on where to put it.. So far, the best idea seems to be to build it in my garage. My main question is, where the hell do I vent all those fumes and glass dust TO... I mean, is it safe for the rest of the neighbourhood to just blow glass dust and heavy metal vapors into the atmostphere? I don't want to preserve my health at the expense of the people around me.. Also, there are dogs in both my house and the one just next to mine, and I don't want to make them sick by venting air that will go into their yards.. any advice at all will be usefull.. I've been looking through the boards, but haven't found anything yet. -Almost Famous

I have dogs and they seem to be fine , vet checked out fine , although I didnt directly ask for tox scans.

With pets in the local area, I'd say to go out the wall, and duct down to about 2' from the ground. Be sure to put a screen to prevent birds and other critters from getting in the duct. Put a metal trash can under the duct to catch any glass trash.

The guy even let his kids/dogs play out there. N8
